What if you could give your fruit juice another refreshing and soothing taste? Trying out carbonated fruit juice is one sure way to try!

What are carbonated/fizzy drinks?

Carbonated drinks also known as fizzy drinks are beverages that contain dissolved carbon dioxide. The dissolution of CO2 in a liquid gives rise to fizz or effervescence. Normally, this process involves carbon dioxide under high pressure.

When the pressure is removed, the carbon dioxide is released from the solution as small bubbles, which causes the solution to become effervescent, or fizzy. A common example is the dissolution of carbon dioxide in water, resulting in carbonated water.

Carbonated beverages are prepared by mixing the flavored syrup with carbonated water, both chilled.

What are fizzy fruit drinks?

These are fruit drinks that have been carbonated with CO2. The process is done artificially by using a whipper or manually by using a cooler and dry ice.

Carbonating fruits gives them a more cool and refreshing taste when consumed, giving the consumer a refreshing and soothing “tang” feeling.

Step to make Fizzy Fruit drink:

Tools needed

  • A whip cream dispenser
  • A cream charger.

How to:

Step one: Fill up your IsI whipper with fresh and juicy fruit (fruits with high water contents work well in this type of preparation.)

Step two: Pick the whipper’s head and screw it back on carefully and securely. Make sure to check it is fitted correctly.

Step three: Pick and screw on one IsI soda charger (two might be required when 1L whipper is used).

Step four: Carefully turn the bottle to ascertain the even distribution of the fruit that is placed inside of the whipper. This will see to proper carbonation of every fruit placed inside of the whipper.

Step five: Leave the whipper in the refrigerator for some hours or better still overnight to allow it to create a special fizzy effect.

Step six: Shortly before serving, press the lever to release the pressure with the valve and then unscrew the head to serve the already fizzy fruit.

The whole fizzy process is completed.

Your fizzy fruit is ready for serving! You can serve it as fruit salad, place it on ice cream, use it as a garnish, or even place it on cocktails.

Fruits like juicy pears, pomegranate seeds, grapes, and other high water content fruits work well.

Yes, you can. This can be done by adding your already chopped fruit into the bottle, you can then choose to add the juice of choice (this is solely based on choice). Remember to refrigerate and leave the bottle inside the refrigerator to improve the flavor.

  • What’s the difference between soft and fizzy drinks?

Soft drinks are drinks that contain no alcohol and they include energy drinks, fruit juice, flavored water & drinks, and concentrates. Fizzy drinks are drinks, water that contains traces of dissolved carbon dioxide.

Carbon dioxide is introduced into them to add bubbles and the CO2 also help increase the storage period by protecting the soft drink and keeping it fresh by preventing the growth of bacteria in the liquid during the period of storage
